HIGH SCHOOL CAREER



Attended Vandegrift High School in Austin, Texas … As a senior, averaged 26.1 points, 13.2 rebounds, 3.5 blocks, and 2.1 assists per game … Led the team to a 33-3 record and the Class 6A regional quarterfinals … Named Texas Gatorade Player of the Year … McDonald's All-American selection.


UNIVERSITY / COLLEGE CAREER


Averaged 9.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per game during his freshman year at the University of Texas … Known for his explosive athleticism and defensive presence.

Averaging 3.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game in the NBA and NBA G League … Known for his athleticism, high-flying dunks, and defensive versatility … Has experience playing both forward positions and contributing as a rim protector and transition scorer.


2024-Present: Playing for the Mexico City Capitanes in the NBA G League … Signed in September 2024 … Expected to be a key contributor on both ends of the floor with increased opportunities to showcase his offensive development.


2023-24: Played for the Dallas Mavericks on a two-way contract … Appeared in 6 games, averaging 2.5 points and 1.5 rebounds per game … Also played for the Texas Legends, the Mavericks’ G League affiliate, where he averaged 10.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game … Showcased improved perimeter shooting and defensive discipline.


2021-2023: Played two seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers after being selected 43rd overall in the 2021 NBA Draft … Made his NBA debut on October 23, 2021, against the Phoenix Suns.


2021-22: Averaged 4.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game over 48 games … Scored a career-high 17 points on March 21, 2022, vs. the Detroit Pistons … Earned extended minutes towards the end of the season due to team injuries.


2022-23: Averaged 1.8 points and 1.2 rebounds per game over 16 games … Spent time in the G League with the Ontario Clippers, where he averaged 12.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game … Waived by the Trail Blazers in February 2023.
