CALGARY SURGE ANNOUNCE CLS SUITES AS PREFERRED ACCOMMODATIONS PROVIDER

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Surge are pleased to announce CLS Suites as the Preferred Accommodations Provider for players, coaches, and staff for the upcoming 2023 inaugural season, the team announced Monday.

“In every conversation I have had with our General Manager, Shane James, he emphasized the importance of housing for players and staff moving to a new city,” said Calgary Surge Vice-Chairman and President Jason Ribeiro. “We promised to deliver some of the best accommodations in the CEBL and Hanif Ladha and CLS Suites have helped us keep that promise. We are thrilled to have them as our Preferred Accommodations Provider for our inaugural season,” continued Ribeiro.

CLS Suites provides fully furnished one and two-bedroom accommodations in exclusive condo buildings located in Eau Claire, East Village, Kensington, Mission, Inglewood, Marda Loop, and the Beltline, with magnificent views of the Bow River, Rocky Mountains, and downtown skyline.

Surge players and staff will be offered comfortable accommodations and world class building amenities including concierge services, fitness areas, wireless internet, jacuzzis, swimming pools, and video/entertainment rooms.

The Calgary franchise originated as the Guelph Nighthawks in 2018, one of the six founding members of the CEBL. About the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL)

A league created by Canadians for Canadians with a mission to develop Canadian players, coaches, sports executives, and referees, the CEBL boasts the highest percentage of Canadian players of any pro league in the country with 71 percent of its roster being Canadian. Players bring experience from the NBA, NBA G League, top international pro leagues, the Canadian National team program, top NCAA programs, and USPORTS.
